šŸ“†Ā Posting Frequency Guidelines

TikTok recommends posting 1-4 times per day. But itā€™s important to test frequency with your audience. Keep an eye on how youā€™re performing and either decrease or increase posts based on what your audience wants.

šŸ§ Ā Important Context about TikTok

TikTok serves content to viewers based on their interestsā€”not which accounts they follow. Itā€™s the only platform where itā€™s possible to rack up hundreds of thousands, even millions of views, with a new account and zero followers.

āĀ Generating Content Ideas

  1. Follow leaders in your niche (aka your Attention Masters). Create an inspiration bank by following at least 10 accounts in your niche with large followings. Use what they create as inspiration for your own audience.
  2. Take a SEO-inspired approach to content ideation. Gen Z would rather search for how to do something on TikTok than Google. Why? Because on TikTok, you can get a 30-second video showing you exactly what to do. But on Google, you have to deal with a blog post written for SEO, where you might get the answer youā€™re looking for.
  3. Use your audience to create more content. Ask your audience to put their questions in the comments, then use those questions to create more content. This builds momentum and creates a flywheel effect.
